I believe design transcends industries and disciplines - I look for projects that enable learning, sharing, and connecting.

Jennifer has worked in design since 2006, rooted in Los Angeles art fabrication studios and pioneering special event companies. Her portfolio features work with the largest projection-mapped stages ever built, internationally touring DJ booths, props for television, music videos and film, and interactive spaces. She spent two years as the cartographer for Do LaB, the world-renowned special event creators responsible for “the best stage at Coachella,” according to Rolling Stone Magazine in 2015 and their flagship event, Lightning in a Bottle Art and Music Festival in Southern California. Her work contributed to event layout, logistical and operational strategies for optimizing festival traffic, drone site imaging, way-finding kiosks, and marketing assets.

Jennifer began teaching in 2016 at the University of California, Davis. She has taught a wide range of topics from graphic design, branding, and publication, to placemaking, narrative environments, and social messaging. She created and taught a course on design, art and technology based on learning through making; combining analog and digital techniques. She has lead independent studies, internships, and has included students in her original projects with lessons in applying for grants, community engagement, and public installation.

Now based in Dallas, TX, she works as a freelance designer and teaches at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in the Department of Design. From her Deep Ellum studio she creates mixed media design projects for clients in laser cutting, resin casting, and wood working to create light installations and furnishings for home and special events.
